Overview
A driving-school app: students, instructors and a lesson calendar. The school creates accounts. There is no public sign-up. Students book, instructors accept, admins see reports. Messages, mail and an archive are in there. MongoDB, Auth.js, hosted on a VPS at osk-rezerwacje.pl.
Challenge
A driving school cannot have open registration or a shared calendar for who took the slot. Roles had to be split, and mail had to leave a trail.
Goals
Three roles, a calendar with accept/reject and hour settlement. No online payments.
Solution
Separate dashboards for admin, instructor and student. A booking waits for approval. Mail goes out from templates. A cron job cleans old data.
Process
Roles and course model, calendar, mail, archive, then the VPS.
